St. Ann's Feast Celebrates 103 Years

St. Ann's Feast, an Italian food and music festival that originated to honor the Hoboken church's namesake in 1910, returns this week for its 103rd year.

This year's five-day festival, which features food, rides, games and nightly live entertainment, runs from Wednesday through Sunday in the area of St. Ann’s Church at 7th and Jefferson streets. The festival runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The traditional procession of the statue of St. Ann through the streets of Hoboken, held annually as the culmination of the feast day festivities, will occur following 11 a.m. mass on Friday, the official feast day of St. Ann, the patron saint of pregnant women.
