The eagerly anticipated opening of Anthropologie in Hoboken has finally arrived.
The trendy women's clothing and home decor retailer, located on Washington Street at the site of what was previously Blockbuster Video, will open to the public Friday morning at 10.
Anthropologie had originally hoped to open in April, but the date was pushed back a few months while renovations were being done on the 7,500 square foot space.
Ron Zimmerman, the realtor who brokered the deal that brought Anthropologie to 412 Washington St., told Patch in January that the store's management signed a long-term lease at the location that will keep the chain retailer there for at least a decade.
