No New Year's Plans Yet? Worry Not: Hoboken is Full of Options

It's party time!

The end of 2012 is near. And what better way to celebrate the end of this news-filled year, and the beginning of 2013, with a big party in Hoboken?

So, get your party outfit ready and take a look at some of the Mile Square's options to party the night away in Hoboken.

The Pilsener Haus is offering food, booze and the Times Square Ball drop on big screens. Entrance is $20, big parties should reserve. If you like beer and brats, this is your place.

For cocktails in a fancy loft, you can head upstairs, to the Kolo Club. Tickets are $100, which includes an open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The Brass Rail is promising "the best party" in town, with drink specials all night long, as well as a DJ. The Brass Rail is also offering a sit down gala dinner for $135 per person. If you prefer a more loungy feel, the party is upstairs.

The Village Pour House on First Street will also ring in the new year in style. You'll spend between $95 and $150 (depending on which package you pick). The more you pay, the more you can drink.

Across the street, at the Shannon, there will be a cover as well as a cash bar. DJ SkinnyJimmy will be there all night long and the bar is encouraging people to arrive as early as possible.

For $95, you can partake in a five-hour open bar at the Black Bear. This also includes a three-course buffet and a champagne toast and party favors, before you dance the night away.

Hungry and thirsty and ready for a big party? Bahama Mama's is offering an open bar for $75. Tickets are still available.

If you're going to ring in the new year in the comfort of your own home, Sushi Lounge is encouraging Hobokenites to do so with a stomach full of sushi. Reservations are available and the Sushi Lounge is also taking orders.

Happy 2013!

Looks like Mulligan's ((201) 876-4101) is having one of the better open-bar deals in Hoboken - It's only $75 ($79.50 with credit card due to surcharges) from 9 PM to 3 AM (6 hours!). Unlike other bars, they are serving TOP SHELF liquor. This also includes a hot & cold buffet, a champagne toast at midnight and party favors - along with a DJ who will be spinning dance music all night.

Celebrate NYE in Hoboken, stay local, spend local. Why go to NYC? Hoboken has everything packed in to 1 mile square.
