Online Parenting Networks Join Forces to Host Baby Expo

Mommies247 and Jumblzar will host the first annual Baby Bazaar on Sunday at the W Hotel in Hoboken from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A pair of websites that cater to young mothers will team up this Sunday to host what they expect to be the largest parenting expo this area has ever seen.

Mommies247.com, a social networking site for Hoboken moms, and Jumblzar.com, an online marketplace for moms to buy and sell children's items, are spearheading the first annual Baby Bazaar from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the W Hotel in Hoboken, located at 225 River St.

The event will feature a host of local vendors, speakers, raffles, merchandise giveaways and a range of fun activities for kids.

Parents are free to enjoy the day with their children or drop them off with on-site childcare professionals who will watch the kids while mom and dad shop and attend lectures by the likes of Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer, celebrity personal trainer Ray Wallace and doctors from the Riverside Pediatric Group in Ridgefield Park.

If parents need some downtime during the day, the bazaar also offers both a lounge for moms and a "man cave" for dads, complete with craft beer or scotch to drink and hand-rolled cigars to smoke while watching the day's football games.
