Jill Biggs Named To Wall Street Journal/Real Trends List Of Top U.S. Real Estate Professionals

HOBOKEN, N.J.  – (July 24, 2014) – Jill Biggs, a sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Hoboken, has been recognized as being among the top 200 real estate sales professionals in the nation based on sales volume by the 2014 REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal “Top Thousand”. The report ranks America’s top 1,000 residential real estate agents and teams based on 2013 annual sales volume and transaction sides.

Biggs was the No. 1 Hoboken agent for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York for 2013. Out of the more than 3,000 agents in the entire company, Biggs ranked No. 2 based on gross commission income and No. 3 in total units sold for the year.

This includes the New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award, which she earned at the Bronze Level in 2006 and 2007, the Silver Level in 2008, the Gold Level in 2009 and uppermost Platinum Level from 2010-2013.

For the past three years, Biggs has earned membership in Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Premier, the company’s highest award recognizing the top 1 percent of approximately 85,000 affiliated Coldwell Banker sales professionals worldwide. Biggs was one of only two sales associates affiliated with the New Jersey/Rockland company to be honored with membership in the 2013 Society of Excellence, the highest award bestowed by NRT LLC, the parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. 

The 2014 REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Top Thousand is divided into four categories, each listing their top 250 designees: individual agent by sales volume, individual agent by transaction sides, team by sales volume and team by transaction sides.

Sales associates affiliated with NRT LLC offices, which include Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, represented 35 percent (87) of the spots within the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume. In total, NRT accounts for 15 percent (146) of the agents and teams included in the rankings.

Agents and teams affiliated with Realogy brands – specifically the company-owned offices operated by Realogy’s subsidiary, NRT LLC, and the independently owned and operated franchisees of the Realogy Franchise Group – accounted for:

  • 116 of the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume (46 percent)
  • 91 of the Top 250 Agents by Transaction Sides (36 percent)
  • 51 of the Top 250 Teams by Sales Volume (20 percent) 
  • 30 of the Top 250 Teams by Transaction Sides (12 percent) 

Nearly 29 percent of America’s top residential real estate sales professionals are affiliated with Relaogy brands, according to the 2014 REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Top Thousand report.
