New Stores Coming to Newport Centre
Jersey City shopping center to see new tenants starting in August.
Simon’s Newport Centre is pleased to announce the addition of four new retailers to its exception lineup in the categories of fashion and dining, starting in August and continuing into the busy holiday shopping season.
Among the retailers opening at Newport Centre include:
· Panera (Level 1, near Center Court): A popular bakery-café, showcasing fresh-baked breads, made-to-order sandwiches, tossed-to-order salads and seasonal soups served in warm bread bowls. The 3,519-square-foot restaurant is set to open in August.

· Cacique (Level 2, next to JCPenney): Cacique plus size intimates are a Lane Bryant exclusive and are famous for the fit solutions and fashion styling they offer in bras, panties, sleepwear and more. This specialized shopping boutique is set to open in September.
· G Star Raw (Level 2, next to Coach): True denim originals, G-Star RAW are renowned for their work with raw denim, creating innovative yet functional designs. They’ve introduced ‘luxury denim for the streets,’ by fusing high-level craftsmanship with street level edge to create a new denim sector; the positioning of raw, untreated denim as a wearable and desirable material. G Star Raw is set to open in August.

· Pota-topia (Dining Pavilion): Pota-topia is about choices. They offer a wide selection of all-natural quality gourmet ingredients and a distinct approach that will change the way you think about potatoes. Create your own meal or enjoy their most popular combinations, all of which feature natural cut potato styles, fresh toppings, flavorful extras, and signature sauces to create a perfectly balanced meal. Pota-topia is expected to open this fall as part of the mall’s new Dining Pavilion.
Newport Centre is in the midst of a major renovation and rejuvenation of its food area. The multi-million dollar project will transform the existing food offerings into a brand new contemporary Dining Pavilion which will complement Newport Centre’s wide selection of fashions, food options and entertainment venues that make it one of New Jersey’s premier shopping destinations.
The new Dining Pavilion is expected to be ready in October. The existing food operation remains open throughout the duration of the renovation project.
