City of Hoboken Offering Incentive To Local Holiday Shoppers

Those who spend at least $20 at local restaurants or businesses will get four hours of free parking in municipal garages.

 

The city of Hoboken is offering up to four hours of free parking in municipal garages to visitors who shop or dine local in December.

To receive free parking, shoppers must present parking attendants a receipt for at least $20 from any Hoboken restaurant or business.

"We want to make it easy and enjoyable for visitors to shop or dine in Hoboken and support the local businesses that make our community great," said Mayor Dawn Zimmer in a statement.

Free parking is available in municipal garages B (28 2nd St), D (215 Hudson St) and Midtown (371 4th St) seven days a week between 9 a.m. and midnight. Shoppers will be charged at the regular rate for any time after four hours.
