Hoboken May See Bike Sharing in Town

The city is asking its residents to fill out a survey about the possibility of bike sharing.

Over the last few years, the city has  and has tried to .

Now, the city wants to bring a bike sharing program to Hoboken and Jersey City in a partnership with the county. The Mile Square already has a car sharing program, . A bycicle sharing program would essentially work the same, with stations around town where bikes can be parked and picked up. 

Major cities like Paris, Dublin and Boston have launched bike sharing programs.
