PATH Service to and from Hoboken Suspended This Weekend

The Newark to World Trade Center line is running. Free shuttles will take Hoboken passengers to Newport.

PATH service to and from Hoboken is suspended on Saturday Jan. 5 and Sunday Jan. 6, according to an announcement from the Port Authority.

Service is suspended to speed up the construction that will resume round the clock service on all PATH lines.

Besides New Year's Eve, round the clock service has been suspended since Hurricane Sandy hit late October.

No announcement was made yet about the Hoboken to World Trade Center line.

Service between Journal Square and 33rd Street, including Hoboken, will resume on Monday Jan. 7 at 5 a.m.

This week the Port Authority announced that 24/7 service could resume in about seven days.
