Rebuild Hoboken Extends Deadline
Residents, business and non-profits in Hoboken have until February 9th to apply.
The Rebuild Hoboken Relief Fund has extended its application deadline, according to board members.
Hoboken residents, businesses and non-profits now have until Saturday, February 9th to apply. The fund will begin distributing aid sometime after that and applications are already being reviewed.
Jackie Burton, a spokeswoman for the fund, told Patch in an e-mail that board members hope the extension will allow even more people to respond.

"We want to make certain that there is awareness for the Relief Fund so that people and businesses who suffered losses know that there is a local helping source," she wrote.
Earlier this month, a , raising the total to more than $600,000. Burton said donations are still coming in. A star-studded gala fundraiser is planned for Saturday, February 2 at the W Hotel, and the Mile Square Theatre is puttng on a Broadway-themed benefit concert this Sunday, January 20.

Eligible applicants must have a Hoboken address and at least $5,000 total losses after insurance and FEMA payouts. For more information or to apply, visit RebuildHoboken.org.
