Exhibit opening: "Hoboken: One Year After Sandy"

As the first anniversary of the storm approaches, the Museum is opening a new exhibit titled β€œHoboken: One Year After Sandy, Lessons Learned about Preparedness, Resiliency, and Community.” The exhibit assembles a range of content--historical images and documents; residents' oral histories and photos; maps and proposed plans to alleviate flooding--to help explain how our community responded and learned new lessons about coping with major disasters. Be among the first to see the new exhibit at a free reception on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5 - 8 pm. All are welcome. The exhibit will remain on view through July 6, 2014, and visitors are encouraged to add their own recollections to the archives.
