Free Childbirth Class
Studies have shown that prenatal classes make parents-to-be more comfortable before birth and they also reduce the incident rate of certain neonatal complications linked to maternal stress. Not only does this translate to a healthier baby, but both parents feel more comfortable when they feel fully prepared for all the possibilities childbirth can bring.
What will I learn?
- When to leave for the hospital
- What to expect during each stage of labor and birth
- Medical interventions and procedures
- Coping techniques: breathing, massage, and partner support
- Pain relief options, including epidural usage
- What you need to know about Cesarean birth and prevention
- Newborn procedures in your hospital
- What to expect at your first pediatric visit
- Answers to your questions about vaccinations
Each reservation guarantees you three seats for the class. We wanted to offer the same educational opportunity to both parents-to-be as well as their child’s future caretaker. It takes a village to raise a child, but what good is a village unless everyone is on the same page?
