Hate Crimes in the Heartland, A Documentary on Race Relations

Jersey City University Lee Hagan Africana Studies Center presents the New
Jersey premiere of Hate Crimes in the
Heartland, 
a new documentary by award-winning director Rachel Lyon, as part of their Black History Month celebration. A panel discussion, featuring historian Dr. Clement Price, author Karen Hunter, Lee Hagan Africana Studies Center Director Dr. Antoinette Ellis-Williams, exonerated member of the Central Park Five Kharey Wise and the film's director, will follow the
screening. There will be a light reception at the end of the evening to encourage continued dialogue
