The Heart & Mind 2013 Festival is an international gathering of many communities, organizations and cultures coming together to help raise the vibration of our planet. Some of these include: Golden Drum (goldendrum.org), Movement of the American Indian Solar Culture (M.A.I.S.C.), and Eagle Condor Hummingbird, Foundation For Promotion of Indigenous Cultures.  These, and many other unique organizations in our world community are dedicated to the healing, transformation, and the expansion of consciousness of humanity, integrating the teachings of indigenous, philosophical, and spiritual traditions from around the world.  These communities work towards the integration of sustainable global consciousness and support each other through respect, love, harmony and oneness.

The astounding success and positive feedback of the first international Heart & Mind 2012 Festival in NYC last November inspired the community to continue the event as a cyclical event. Last year over 500 people attended, and all of the proceeds were donated to the communities of the spiritual leaders and to those affected by hurricane Sandy.

From all over the world, the Heart & Mind Festival invites a diverse group of elders, artists, and healers to collectively share their knowledge and experiences with you! This is an opportunity for those representing various cultures, traditions, and religions to have their voices heard. They will be guiding participants to better understand the changes we are experiencing as a whole; thus bringing people to a closer balance of man and nature. These elders, spiritual leaders, and people of knowledge are coming together to pray for the benefit of all humanity. The energy created through this event will have a far greater effect than we could imagine.

This year’s presenters include: Master Manuel Rufino - Ceremonial Leader, Kawenno'kera:ne - Mohawk Elder of the Six Nations, Chief Alex Turtle - Ceremonial Leader, Joan Henry - Lead Drummer & Song Carrier, Tata Pedro Cruz and Nan Shumantla Fenix - Council of Mayan Elders, Barnaby Ruhe, Ph.D. - Shaman Dome, Itzhak Beery - Shamanic Teacher & Healer Shaman Portal, and Chief Running Water - Setalcott Nation's Chief.
