Support Good Causes with Dinner at Wicked Wolf

The Boys and Girls Club of Hudson County and the Jubilee Center, along with the Association for Science in Autism Treatment (ASAT), have joined together to launch Dine InDeed 2012, a community-wide restaurant event committed to helping children and adolescents realize their fullest potential.  The Wicked Wolf Tavern is our first official restaurant this summer! Four Hoboken restaurants have participated in the recent past raising almost $5000.

The Wicked Wolf Tavern, at 120 Sinatra Drive has a menu full of American favorites and specialties, including a children’s menu http://www.wickedwolfhoboken.com/menus.php. The Wicked Wolf offers their guests a comfortable and friendly environment, exceptional service, and an incredible view of Manhattan. This collaboration supports the initiatives of three local organizations:

  • Current estimates state that 1 in 88 children have autism. Each year, countless Hudson County families spend thousands of dollars on unproven treatments for their child with autism. The Association for Science in Autism Treatment’s mission is to disseminate accurate information about autism treatments so that all families are able to identify and choose effective, scientifically-validated interventions for their child.
  • The mission of the Jubilee Center is to serve the academic and social needs of children and families in Hoboken’s public housing community.  The Center has provided a safe after school haven for children in grades K-6 for more than a decade and has recently expanded programming to accommodate the needs of the children during the summer.
  • The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County helps young people build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. They do this by providing a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life-enhancing programs year round. Donations will be used to fund building renovations at the Hoboken location on Jefferson Street.
