Party With Purpose Presents 11th Annual Charity Winter Benefit

Nonprofit wants you to eat, drink, be merry and do good.

Party With Purpose celebrates its 11th year of living well while doing good with its annual Winter Benefit in Hoboken Feb. 27.

The organization's reason for being lies in its name: Party With Purpose is a nonprofit that hosts parties and special events to raise money for various charities in and around Hoboken, including the Hoboken Soup KitchenThe Boys & Girls Club of Hudson County and the Hoboken Historical Museum. Since its founding 11 years ago, the group has distributed more than $500,000 to nonprofit efforts that directly serve the community.

Every year, it holds a January event to toast its successes and honor its most recent grant recipients. This year's Winter Benefit will take place at Lulu's in the W Hotel Hoboken, 225 River St., at 7 p.m. The night will feature entertainment by the Jersey Follettes, raffles and special guest appearances. Appetizers and an open bar are also included. All funds raised will go directly to support local organizations in need.
