Hoboken Police to Host 'Fill the Bus' Holiday Toy Drive

The Hoboken Police Department's second annual "Fill the Bus" toy drive will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

The Hoboken Police Department encourages residents to stop by police headquarters and drop off an unwrapped gift on Dec. 11 when the department will attempt to fill its police bus to the brim with toy donations for local families in need.

The department's second annual "Fill the Bus" toy drive, which runs from 11. a.m. to 7 p.m., is being held in coordination with the Hoboken Fire Department, Hoboken Motorcycle Club, Hoboken Special Needs Parent Group and Wallace School Peer Leadership.

In addition to the police headquarters, located at 106 Hudson St., donors can drop off items prior to the event at Baby Gap, 222 Washington Street, Servpro of Hoboken and Union City, 51 Fairmount Avenue in Jersey City, and World of Wonder Day Care, 133 Harrison Street.

If you are or know of a family in need that could use the support, you can contact the Hoboken Police Department at (201) 420-2100 or Hobokenpsoa@gmail.com. Please include the names and ages of the children with your message.
