Community Update

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM INTERIOR MOTIF!!!
- expensive compared to other retailers
- worst customer service
- manager - Stephan Elbaz - is rude and unprofessional
- incorrect measurements
- very poor / sloppy installation

The installer took incorrect measurements of the blinds and the installation was sloppy - blinds were installed at an angle and off-centered to try to accommodate for the incorrect measurements.
When I contacted Stephan, he tried to blame the mistake on me. Being that they should be the expert, I relied on their expertise to make correct measurements - in which they obviously didn't. Stephan was not willing to change the blinds after many requests so I had no choice but to contact Hunter Douglas to file a complaint and it wasn't until then that Stephan finally agreed to re-order the blinds.
After a month waiting, the installer finally came and installed the new blinds but also gave me a new bill - even though this was their mistake in measurements. I got on the phone with Stephan and he THREATENED me by saying the installer will take down the blinds and take it with him unless I pay for the bill. Once again, I emailed Hunter Douglas and added Stephan to the correspondence - informing Hunter Douglas of this issue. After a long and painful struggle, I did not need to pay for the new bill. However, Stephan wouldn't have budged if I didn't contact Hunter Douglas directly. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM INTERIOR MOTIF!!!
