NEWS 12 NEW JERSEY CONTINUES “ON THE ROAD 2014”

(EDISON, N.J., JUNE 6, 2014) -- News 12 New Jersey will continue its annual "On The Road" series of live broadcasts in the vibrant city of Hoboken, New Jersey on Friday, June 6th. The live segment with anchor Marisa Brahney and meteorologist Dave Curren will highlight the people, businesses and landscape that make Hoboken the “most exciting small city" in America. The "On The Road" series will visit a total of 14 New Jersey cities and towns each Friday at 5:00 p.m. during the summer and showcase different News 12 New Jersey personalities.

"This year is all about how New Jersey continues to recover and to celebrate the progress since Superstorm Sandy," said Randal Stanley, News 12 New Jersey News Director. "Each year, ‘On The Road’ captures the genuine Jersey spirit unique in each community. Our News 12 New Jersey viewers invite us into their hometowns to share what makes them ‘Jersey Strong’."
Viewers can be a part of the live broadcast on June 6th at 5:00 p.m., on the corner of Washington St. and 4th St.
Each week, the segments can be seen live on channel 12 on Optimum TV, Service Electric, and Time Warner Cable systems in New Jersey, and on channel 62 (HD1218) on Comcast of New Jersey. They will also be available on-demand on News 12 Interactive, channel 612 on Optimum TV.
