25 Boxes of Sandy Donations Stolen from Multi Service Center

Jackets and blankets were stolen, police said.

Approximately 25 boxes filled with post-Sandy donations were stolen from the Multi Service Center last week, according to police.

The boxes were filled with donations from — among other places — Major League Baseball. Many of the jackets inside had Cleveland Indians logos on them, police said.

The donations were supposed to be given out at the city's winter carnaval last week. When city employees went to the Multi Service Center last week, they found the boxed empty, stacked against the wall, according to reports.
