Unfortunately, people who get their "local" news from venues like PATCH miss a lot. There seem to be a fair number of stories about crimes of people who are minorities or who have "old Hoboken" sounding names. On the other hand, back in 2012, a prominent Hobokenite, a "relative newcomer", active in politics and community organizations was fined $75000 by the Security and Exchange Commision for "market manipulation" and received a three year bar in the securities business. Can not find any record of it in any local media. So much for the press and justice.
