Hopatcong Man found in Hoboken, Bleeding from the Head

No arrests were made in relation to this assault.

A 24-year-old man from Hopatcong was allegedly assaulted at First and Garden Streets on Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m., police said.

The man was found bleeding from the head, police said. The victim told police he didn't know how or why had been wounded.

Police appraoched the man when they saw he was wounded, while on regular patrol in the area.

The victim said he had lost his friends in Hoboken and seemed very intoxicated, according to the police report.

When the ambulance arrived at the scene, the man began vomiting heavily, police said. He suffered a few lacerations to the face.
