Light Rail Train Strikes Bicyclist Near Hoboken Ninth Street Station

A Jersey City man who was riding his bike across the tracks was struck by a light rail train near the Hoboken Ninth Street station Tuesday morning.
Canvito Martinez-Bolanos, 41, was transported to Jersey City Medical Center with head injuries, according to NJ.com. His condition was not immediately known.
Martinez-Bolanos rode his bike in front of a southbound train at about 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to NJ.com. The accident delayed trains in both directions for about 10 minutes, the article said.
