Little Ferry Man Arrested in Hoboken after Vandalizing Downtown Bar

Police arrested a 25-year-old from Little Ferry just after midnight on Sunday.

Hoboken police arrested a 25-year-old man from Little Ferry a little after midnight on Sunday. 

Nicholas Perrotti was charged with criminal mischief and simple assault, police said, after he allegedly damaged two windows at a downtown establishment and allegedly assaulted a bounncer.

According to police reports, the incident occured around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday at Newark and Washington Streets.

Police said that Perrotti was asked to leave the bar after being highly intoxicated. On his way out, according to the report, he allegeldy elbowed one of the security guards.

He then allegedly punched his fist through two windows — total damage of $700 — according to the police report.

Perrotti was taken to the Hoboken University Medical Center where police said he continued to act "violent and abusive."
