Hoboken police has arrested eight people since Monday for alleged trespassing and drug possession, according to police records.
During a building sweep on Monday night around 9 o'clock, officers came across two twenty sometings who were smoking marijuana in the building.
On Monday around 7:25 p.m., police arrested a man and a woman who were allegedly in possession of heroin and narcotic paraphernalia, according to police.
Union City resident Roxanna Santamaria, 20, and Yonkers resident Angel Romereo-Corraliza, 24, were arrested by Hoboken police for allegedly possessing the drug within 500 feet of a public housing project and within 500 feet of a school, police said.
The little bags in which the drugs were allegedly placed, had the word "maserati" written on them, police said.
Around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, police arrested three men who were allegedly involved in a heroin transaction.
Police arrested three Hoboken men, who were found to be in posession of little bags that seemed to contain heroin, according to reports. The incident took place at 310 Jackson St.
Jan Nawrocki, 41; Winfred Pickett, 53 and Xavier Hernandez, 50, were allegedly seen engaging in a transaction to buy and sell the drug, police said.
"There have been numerous complaints to this office from local residents that live in Hoboken Housing Authority that are related to the sale or use of illegal narcotics in and around the Hoboken Housing Authority," according to the police report.
The little bags contained the word "flood zone" on them in red ink, police said.
Around 11:30 p.m. that same night, police arrested Hobokenite Javier Jimenez at the Housing Authority building at 655 Sixth St., according to reports.
Jimenez, 33, was charged with trespassing and possession of PCP, police said.
