Six Teens Arrested Following Incident At Hoboken Terminal

A half-dozen teenagers were taken into custody Tuesday after allegedly verbally harassing people and throwing bottles at cars, the Jersey Journal reported.

Six teens who were allegedly throwing glass bottles at cars and people outside the Hoboken Terminal were arrested inside the train station Tuesday afternoon, the Jersey Journal reported.

When police arrived, the group of teens ran into the train station, where they were taken into custody by New Jersey Transit police, NJ Transit spokesman William Smith said.

The teens were turned over to Hoboken police, who charged each of them with simple assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. One of the teens, whose backpack allegedly contained six bags of marijuana, faces additional drug-related charges.
