Weehawken Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver

Victim suffered serious injuries early Saturday morning when he was crossing 19th Street at Willow Avenue in Weehawken.

Police are looking for a driver in a hit-and-run accident that left a Weehawken man hospitalized for four days.

The 24-year-old victim was crossing 19th Street at Willow Avenue in Weehawken when he was struck by a newer model, 4-door, gray or silver Honda or Acura at about 12:50 a.m. Saturday, according to NJ.com.

The vehicle is believed to have suffered driver's side damage, including the loss of the driver's side mirror, NJ.com reported.
