Woman Flings Feces in Parking Officer's Face, Cops Say

Resident upset over parking ticket splashes feces in Hoboken parking enforcement officer's face, the Jersey Journal reports.

A Hoboken woman enraged over receiving a parking ticket she felt was unwarranted last week allegedly scooped feces from the ground and tossed it in the face of the parking enforcement officer who wrote her up, the Jersey Journal reported.

After first denying the foul fling, the 39-year-old woman, who is not named in the report, admitted picking up the excrement in a paper cup and hurling it at the parking utility worker, whom she believed had targeted her because she is Latina, police said.

The parking officer said she was leaving work at City Hall last Wednesday around 9 p.m. when the woman confronted her over a parking ticket she'd been issued earlier in the day, police said.

The feces hit the fan, literally, after the parking officer told the woman she was going to call her supervisor, according to the police report.

The women tussled following the fecal affront until witnesses, a large group of which had apparently gathered at Bloomfield and 1st streets to see the skirmish, separated them, police said.

The parking enforcement officer was taken to Hoboken University Medical Center for possible fecal contamination following the incident, police said.

Her alleged attacker, a 9th Street resident, received summonses for harassment and disorderly conduct.
