Hoboken Housing Authority executive director and state assemblyman-elect Carmelo Garcia plans to refile a recently dismissed lawsuit that accused Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer of “ethnic cleansing.”

According to a report on nj.com, Garcia’s suit believes Zimmer and others are trying to push minorities out of the city to make way for affluent, white residents.

The lawsuit, which also named former HHA commissioner Jake Stuiver, was dismissed by a state Superior Court judge in December, but the judge said Garcia could revise and refile the complaint by Feb. 14, nj.com reported Wednesday.

Garcia told the website that he’s looking forward to his day in court.

Clowns like this guy diminish the plight of people who actually experience racist discrimination. No one seemed to care much over the past 30 years where Hoboken and NYC enjoyed a resurgence. People moved here to be closer to work and as a result, it got expensive. So what? I'd like to live in SoHo, but you don't hear me complaining that it's a conspiracy against middle class people like me. I can't afford it, so I live in Hoboken instead.

Is this some kind of joke? He is the one pushing other Hispanics out of the housing. He should spend a little more time serving the people - like shoveling the snow off of the sidewalks (that was never done) - and less time trying to rob them. I hope HUD and the FBI take this thieving psychopath out for good.

This guy has NO BUSINESS being a public servant. He is a disgrace. School Board member, HHA Exec. Dir., NJ State Assembly member - so far, he's been a disgrace in every position he's been "elected" to. What a joke. Can't expect things to change when he gets to the state assembly.
