Hoboken Schools Cancel Aftercare, Postpone School Board Meeting Due to Snow

The storm also affects municipal night court—and driving regulations.

The snow is here and that means changes in Tuesday schedules for Hoboken services and schools.

  • The Hoboken Public Schools did not close due to the storm, however, district officials said that a shortage of  staffers means that aftercare programs will not take place Tuesday. All after school programs are cancelled as well.
  • The Hoboken Board of Education meeting scheduled for Tuesday will be postponed to a future date.
  • City Hall's violations bureau will close at 4 p.m., and Municipal Night Court, scheduled for 6 p.m., will not be held Tuesday. Notifications will be sent by mail for new court dates.
  • Hoboken Police warn that vehicles found parked on emergency snow routes will be ticketed and towed.
