Initially, the proposed $60.4 billion aid package would be voted on by the House of Representatives after the fiscal cliff was addressed. Congress found a resolution for that, but tabled the Sandy package.
The Sandy package has not been voted on.
"It's stunning," said Mayor Dawn Zimmer on Wednesday afternoon. "It shouldn't come down to politics."
Zimmer commented on the delay after receiving , from Haven Savings Bank on Wednesday afternoon.
"" Zimmer said. "And so am I."
