Renovations Underway at 3 Hoboken Parks

Renovations have begun at Elysian, Church Square and Stevens parks.

Renovations are underway at Elysian, Church Square and Stevens parks, the city announced Wednesday.

The Elysian Park improvements, which are being paid for through a $600,000 Green Acres grant, began Sept. 30 and are expected to last several weeks.

Renovation work at the Church Square dog run began Wednesday and work on the Stevens Park dog run and playground is expected to kick off on Monday.

The dog runs at all three parks will feature canopy structures for shade, new benches, fencing and gates, a pet waste bag dispenser and improved dog water fountains.
