Hoboken 13-Year-Old Wins Hudson County Spelling Bee
Edward Horan, a student at The Hudson School, captured the 55th annual event on Saturday.
With the correct spelling of "somniloquist," Hoboken's Edward Horan, 13, won The Jersey Journal's 55th annual Hudson County Spelling Bee on Saturday at New Jersey City University.
Horan, a student at The Hudson School, beat two-time defending champ Kennith Gonzalez, 13, of Union City and student at St. Francis Academy, according to The Jersey Journal.
