Hoboken Schools Closed Again Due to Winter Weather

Winter weather cancels classes for the second time this week.

Hoboken schools will have a second snow day this week on Wednesday.

The district announced Tuesday night classes will be cancelled as up to 8 inches of snow and as much as a half-inch of ice is possible by Wednesday evening.

The schools closed Monday when nearly 10 inches of snow fell.

The latest storm is expected to cause "dangerous" travel conditions and potential power outages as heavy snow turns to ice.

Hoboken municipal offices will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday and the enforcement of street cleaning has been suspended.
