'Spelling Bee' Takes Center Stage at Hoboken High

Students performed the award-winning play, 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,' last weekend.

Hoboken High School students took the stage last weekend for the musical, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."

The award-winning play with book by Rachel Sheinkin and music and lyrics by William Finn tells the story of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime and sends up the hilarious struggles of those suffering from overachievers' angst. The show was directed by Danielle Miller. Kristen Dziuba was the musical director and choreography was handled by Guinevere DiPiazza.
