Hoboken Family Alliance Kicks Off Holiday Toy Drive

The Hoboken Family Alliance is hosting a party on Nov. 30 at Big Fun Toys to kick off its holiday toy drive

The Hoboken Family Alliance, a charitable organization committed to connecting Hoboken families through events and activities, is throwing a party at Big Fun Toys on Saturday, Nov. 30, to kick off its holiday toy drive.

The party, which last year brought in almost as many toys as are usually collected by HFA during the entire holiday season, includes family activities like face-painting and Letters to Santa, as well as storewide discount shopping.

This year's toy drive runs from Sunday, Nov. 24 through Monday, Dec. 23. Donations of toys should be new and unwrapped, for ages infant to 17, and will be distributed to needy kids in and around Hoboken via the Division of Youth and Family Services, In Jesus’ Name Charities and York Street Project.

Donors should drop-off toys at the following Hoboken locations:

Big Fun Toys, 602 Washington Street (Hours: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.)

CKO Kickboxing (two locations), 127 Grand Street (Hours: M-W 5 p.m.- 9:15 p.m., Th 5 p.m.-8:15 p.m., F 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Sat & Sun 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.) and 900 Madison Street (Hours: M-Th 5:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.,F 5:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Sat 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Sun 9 a.m.-6 p.m.)

New York Sports Club (two locations), 59 Newark St. (Hours: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) and 210 14th St. (Hours: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.)
