Nine Local Businesses Recognized at Annual Chamber Award Ceremony

The Hoboken Chamber of Commerce held its second annual awards dinner and ceremony last week at the Hoboken Elk's Club.

The Hoboken Chamber of Commerce honored nine local businesses at its annual awards dinner and ceremony last week at the Elk's Club on Washington Street.

The nine winners, chosen from 27 finalists, represent "the best of the best in our city," Chamber president Greg Dell'Aquila said.

“The Chamber is thrilled to honor these nine businesses," Dell'Aquila said in a statement. "We are also proud to recognize the contributions of all of our members in making Hoboken such a vibrant community to live and do business in."

Michele Litzky of Litzky Public Relations, who took home the Woman in Business award, was the only individual awardee.

Other businesses honored include Bijou Propertiers ("Green Business"); Muller Insurance ("Uniquely Hoboken"); Party with Purpose ("Community Service"); Haven Savings Bank ("Financial Institution"); Care Point Health - Hoboken University Medical Center ("Business"); Dino & Harry's ("Restaurant"); Pilsener Haus Biergarten ("New Business"); and Liberty Realty ("Real Estate Office").
