WTC and Exchange Place PATH Stations Closed for Next 3 Weekends

PATH passengers should use the Journal Square - 33rd St. (via Hoboken) line for the next three weekends while the WTC and Exchange Place stations are closed.

The World Trade Center and Exchange Place PATH stations will be closed for the next three weekends while the tunnels that connect the stations are power washed to remove residual salt left behind by Superstorm Sandy, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced Friday.

For the next three Fridays (Nov. 8, 15 and 22), the final PATH train from World Trade Center to Hoboken will depart at 10:56 p.m., and the last train from Hoboken to World Trade Center will leave at 11:11 p.m.

Both stations will be re-open on Monday (Nov. 11, 18, 25) at approximately 4:45 a.m, with the first departure from World Trade Center to Newark leaving at 5:10 a.m.

Passengers traveling to lower Manhattan during the next three weekends should take the Journal Square-33rd St. (via Hoboken) line where they can connect to subways or buses in Manhattan, and passengers coming into Grove Street from Newark or Harrison should transfer at Journal Square for the Journal Square-33rd St. (via Hoboken) line.

The World Trade Center West Concourse will remain open and accessible during the weekend outages.
