PATH Closures, Artists' Studio Tour, Craft Beer Fest This Weekend in Hoboken

Let us help you plan your weekend.

*The World Trade Center and Exchange Place PATH stations will be closed this weekend while the tunnels that connect the stations are power washed to remove residual salt left behind by Superstorm Sandy. Visit the PATH website for more information on train schedules and station closures.

*Grab a map at City Hall this Saturday or Sunday and set out for a free, self-guided tour of Hoboken's art galleries, exhibitions and studios from noon to 6 p.m.

*Sample seasonal brews and local food at the Liberty Humane Society's Craft Beer Festival Fundraiser this Saturday at the Hoboken Elks Club. Guests can purchase tickets in advance at the ticket page on the Liberty Humane Society website or buy them at the door on Saturday. The event begins at 1 p.m.

*Former employees of the U.S. Testing Company, which for decades operated out of a building at 15th Street and Park Avenue, will reunite this Sunday at the Hoboken Historical Museum to reminisce and share workplace tales for the public. The free program, "Tales from the Product Testing Lab," begins at 4 p.m.

*An exhibit examining the wide-ranging impact Superstorm Sandy has had on Hoboken opened last Saturday night at the Hoboken Historical Museum and remains on display through July 6, 2014.

*The Proto Gallery, a new contemporary art gallery in Hoboken, has an ongoing exhibition called, "Proto Intro: One," which features 10 contemporary artists who work in a variety of mediums, from painting to photography. The exhibit is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment, through Nov. 17.

*The Hoboken Family Farmers Market is open this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 14th Street and Garden Street.

*The most recent work of accomplished blind artist Tim Lefens is on display through November in the gallery at Bwe Kafe, located at 1002 Washington St.

*The city hosts table tennis nights at the Multi-Service Center from 8 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. every Friday and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday for the rest of the year. Players of all ages are invited to attend the free games (children 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult), which will be held in the Multi-Service Center's second floor gym. Six tables, paddles and balls are available at the center.
