Here's another piece of Hoboken history, the town is home to the world's first Blimpie. While the sub shop has moved downtown in recent years, the original opened in 1964. Today, the sandwiches resemble those of the 1960s, piled high with meat and cheese. History aside, the store is your average sub shop with a few tables for dining in and lots of take-out business. The sandwich bar is towards the back of the space.
