Having lived in Hoboken for 25 years, Cafe Michelina is IMHO, Hoboken's best "old school" Italian restaurant. The food brings me back to the Italian food I had growing up in the Bronx; mussels with hot or sweet sauce, eggplant rollatini, and a host of other old favorites. There are specials too - theVeal Carozza, veal atop eggplant over your choice of pasta is to die for and will keep hunger at bay till the next day's lunch!!
