The Hoboken Board of Education consists of nine people under the leadership of a superintendent. The board has six traditional public schools in its district, from pre-K through grade 12.
The Board holds bimontly meetings on Tuesday at 7pm as well as special meetings at one of the district's schools.
Peter E. Carter was named Hoboken's interim superintendent of schools in July 2009. His predecessor Jack Raslowsky went on to be principal at a school in Manhattan.
