According to Hoboken High School's mission statement, the school aims to "prepare our students to become stakeholders in a changing and complex society." In order to do so, the school offers the 2-year International Baccalaureate Programme, as well as theater, art and music electives.
In 2008 the school met the "Adequate Yearly Progress" requirement under the No Child Left Behind Act.

Hoboken High had the Adult evening classes. When will they resume? The classes were wonderful. I would like them to come back. My daughter was attending the swimming classes she found it to be very rewarding was helping her to exercise in the water and was learning very well. Hope the program comes back.
