Hoboken Movie Theater to Reopen
The theater has been closed since Hurricane Sandy hit.
After almost two months, Hobokenites will be able to watch all new movies in their home town. Since Sandy hit on October 29, the Clearview Cinemas in uptown Hoboken have been closed due to heavy flooding. On Friday December 21, the theater will reopen. The opening of the theater comes in the same week as the reopening of the Hoboken PATH station. The uptown Bier Garten — which also sustained a lot of damage and is located about a block from the movie theater — has already been reopened since Sandy.
