The New Orleans themed bar is scheduled to close its doors for good.
Oddfellow's Rest, a staple in Hoboken's night life, is closing Saturday, according to an announcement on its website. In October, the restaurant's new owner told Patch about the New Orleans-themed bar's scheduled closure. The new place will be a Mexican BBQ restaurant, new owner Mario Fini said in a previous interview. Saturday January 5, the bar — which is known for its Mardi Gras celebration and other Southern traditions — will officially shutter its doors. Correction: a previous version of this post mistakenly stated that the bar's last day is Friday. Oddfellow's is open for business on Friday Jan. 4.
