I have been Involved in fishing, hunting and outdoor sports for the past 38 years. I have worked in the sports industry for 25 years as a sporting goods manager and then as distributer of fishing and hunting equipment. I have also written articles and columns for The NJ Angler, The NJ Bass Federation, The New Jersey Fisherman Magazine, and The New Jersey Bass Anglers Sportsman Association. I also contributed to the Asbury Park Press fishing column.

I worked at Herman’s World of sporting Goods, when it was the largest Sporting goods store in the world. Learning and also becoming one of the leading Fishing and hunting managers in the industry.

I currently live in Hopatcong NJ, and fish both fresh and salt water. I formerly lived at the jersey shore almost on the beach, so I learned about nature firsthand, having been exposed to the outdoors at a very young age.

For my freshwater experiences I have fished Lake Ontario in New York for Salmon, Steelhead and Lake Trout. I have also fished most local waters including major lakes and small mud holes for everything from Bass to Bullheads. I really enjoy Shad fishing on the Delaware River in the spring.

My salt water experiences include offshore fishing for Shark and Tuna. Inshore I have fished by boat fishing for Stripers, Blues, Weakfish, Fluke and flounder. I also have tackled these species from the Jetty’s and Surf.
