Jennifer is originally from Danielson, Connecticut and moved to Florida with her family at the age of thirteen.   She attended college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English.  She currently lives in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.

Jennifer is also a musician whose most recent album was released in 2008 on Matador Records.  She loves reading, running, discovering new places and playing scrabble on the internet.
