About Scott

I moved to Hoboken in 1985. Spent a short time in the 4th Ward, 20 years in Ward 1 and was a 2nd Ward resident for the past two years. With redistricting I happy to announce that Jen Giattino will be my 3rd councilwoman. Finnaly I'll have a woman I will be proud to to vote for. I am active politically. You will see me speaking at the City Council and BOE meetings. I don't own a car, so you'll probably see me walking our wonderful streets.

10r is similar to remedial (I forget the correct term). They were housed at Demerest aka the "alternative school". By state law every student is required to take the 11th grade test. Under Raia (and before) these students were excluded from the tests. This ginned the test scores up higher than they would have been.

Scott,

I want to learn more about 'the 10r issue.

First what does 10r mean?
How can you tell that the 10rs are not included in the stats?
