Halfway to St. Paddy's Day Pub Crawl On for Saturday

Pintmeisters, a local party-hosting group, is organizing a pub crawl on Saturday to mark the halfway point to St. Patrick's Day.

In case you hadn't been counting down the hours until St. Patrick's Day in March, a Hoboken social organization has done the work for you.

Local party-hosting group Pintmeisters, which donates a portion of its event proceeds to charity, is hosting a pub crawl on Saturday to celebrate the Irish holiday's halfway point.

For $25 (or $20 if you pre-order your tickets online), "Paddy's .5" revelers get a t-shirt, beer koozie, wrist band and entree to drink specials at participating bars.

A portion of the entry fees goes to FACES, a New York University Medical Center-affiliated group that funds research to improve the treatment of epilepsy and seizures.

Same day registration for the event starts at 1:30 p.m. at Texas Arizona on River Street, and pub crawlers are encouraged to arrive early to guarantee they get a shirt while supplies last.

In addition to Texas Arizona, other participating bars include The Shannon, Pourhouse, Mulligan's, McSwiggan's, Green Rock, Dubliner, Cork City and 4L's.

Visit Pintmeisters' "Paddy's .5" Facebook event page for full details on the specials being offered at each bar. For additional specials, download the Yelp mobile app
and check-in at each bar.
