Jubilee Center Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The Jubilee Center of Hoboken will conclude a week of celebration with a dinner reception at Amanda's Restaurant Tuesday night.

The Jubilee Center of Hoboken, a non-profit after-school and summer program for low-income children, will culminate its 10th Anniversary celebration Tuesday with a reception to honor individuals who were instrumental in growing the organization over the past decade.

The $250-per-person reception brings together community leaders, businesses and guests to celebrate the Jubilee Center's programs, which daily serve more than 100 children ages 5 to 18.

Tuesday's 10th Annual Beloved Community Celebration, which commemorates organizational contributions from Larry Henriques, Karen Ferguson, Melvona Hicks and Reverend Laurie Jean Wurm, will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Amanda's Restaurant on 9th and Washington streets.
